Svalbard (Spitsbergen) with its amazing wildlife and its location in the high arctic will be open to us on a 10 day diving expedition in the middle of July 2011. This rare trip will, apart for great diving, give us plenty of topside wildlife action also as we will explore these island by foot on many occasions.  

The expedition has only been done once before with great success. What we will see during our trip trip is impossible to foresee because anything can happen. Among the animals we could see are; walrus, polar bears,  blue whales, narwhals, belugas, killer whales, bow-head whale, fin-whales, sei-whales, Northern humpback-whales and numerous seals and birds.
Underwater we will dive around the ice edge, icebergs and the fjords of Spits-bergen. 
  We will be using the Sula as our base of operation. This is a very good boat for these types of expeditions and the boat we used on our very successful recent orca safari.
