The images from our trip to Jeju Island in South Korea are finally online.

The pictures in this gallery were taken while training and during the CMAS world championships of underwater photography held in Jeju Island in South Korea May 2009. This beautiful island had lots of interesting marine life for a cold water photographer like myself. I was particularly amazed about the enormous numbers of John dory encountered on some dive sites. On the dive site Supsom a whole school of them swam by!! I was later told this was not uncommon in the mating season. Another great surprise was the diversity of hyperid amphipods that could be found on various jellyfishes and hydromedusae. Visit the Korea gallery here
